H.E. Ambassador Marko Milisav

Born on July 13, 1984 in Zagreb. He graduated with Honours from University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Sciences in 2009 with grade point average of 9.2, as the best student of the generation from Republika Srpska, gaining a degree in Political Science in International Affairs. He was a scholarship holder of „Dr. Milan Jelić“, Foundation of Government of Republika Srpska and the City of Bijeljina.

From 2010 to 2018 he works in the area of social and child welfare with the Child Welfare Fund of Republika Srpska, and as a General Manager of the Centre for Social Welfare of Bijeljina. From 2014 he was the member of the Supervisory Board of Professional Social Workers experts and numerous working bodies of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

Since 2017 he has been engaged in the field of protection of workers' rights and has served as President of the Trade Union Fund for Child Welfare and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Republika Srpska.

As an expert in the analysis and observation of the election process he participated in domestic and international observation missions in Ukraine 2013 and 2015, Kosovo 2010 and 2014, etc.

Prior accepting the appointment of the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Canada he lived with the spouse Rada Milisav in Bijeljina, East Sarajevo.
