WAO_Ambasada_BiHAmbassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Canada Koviljka Spiric was the host of reception organized for women ambassadors accredited in Ottawa, which are members of the organization WAO (Woman Ambassadors Ottawa). The reception was held on 14 April 2016 in the presence of a representative of more than 25 countries all over the world, including the representative of the European Union. The guest of honor reception was the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada for Europe, Middle East and Maghreb countries Aleksandra Bugailskis. 

The guests were welcomed by Ambassador Spiric saying that a reception was organized to present Bosnia and Herzegovina, and exchange of views on the work of the WAO and the conversation with the guest of honor Alexander Bugailskis.

First speech to all ambassadors had Romanian Ambassador Maria Ligor current President WOA and after Ambassador Maria Ligor the guest of honor Aleksandra Bugailskis. Ambassador Bugailskis has a rich diplomatic career over 30 years long. Among other things, the Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Poland in the same period as the Ambassador Spiric, as well as their cooperation and friendship dates from that period. In addition, Ambassador Bugailskis was Canada's chief negotiator with the EU regarding the CETA agreement. After her presentation led to a discussion among those present on the external political issues.

Next to the all participants it was presented the tourist offer of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Are shown promotional films and an exhibition of traditional costumes from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and handicrafts. Prepared and varied cuisine. In the preparation of traditional dishes from Bosnia and Herzegovina were partly attended by some members of the staff of the Embassy of BiH in Ottawa and representatives of BiH diaspora.

The event ended with the presentation of the product honeymaker Zarko Lovrenovic who gave each visitor a honey produced by recipes from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
