Prijem_Ambasada_BiHAmateur cultural and artistic society "Sevdah", which brings together the citizens of BiH in Ottawa, capital of Canada, together with the Embassy of BiH organized a reception at the embassy building. The reception, which was held on 8 April 2016 was organized under the title "Love-inspired" in honor of choreographer and member of the company Merima Uzarevic. On this ceremony was attended by over 100 guests, among whom were the ambassadors of Croatian Marica Matkovic, Serbia Mihajlo Papazoglu and Algeria Hocine Meghara and numerous friends and admirers of the work Culturala Association "Sevdah".

During her speech to the guests of reception Ambassador Koviljka Spiric thanked to all activists of ACA "Sevdah" in a dignified manner that presents all the values of culture and heritage of the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She pointed out that in this regard Embassy will continue to support the work of that and other associations in Canada.

As part of reception was organized an exhibition of paintings with motives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the presentation of traditional costumes of all the peoples of our country. There was also an ethno fashion show where models are presented with the details of traditional clothing from Bosnia and Herzegovina prepared by Merima Užarević. One of the evening was devoted to poetry which is also the creator Uzarevic.

Guests enjoyed by BiH with traditional dishes prepared by members of the "Sevdaha" and music performed by the orchestra ACAS "Sevdah". As a sign of gratitude for the support the work of associations Ambassador Spiric was awarded an honorary member booklet.
