After several days of work, the renovations of the consular department, and the entrance of this sectionof the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ottawa were completed. As a result, this section of the Embassy is now secured with the highest standards of provision of consular and other services. This section now provides a pleasant ambient for both service users and the staff of the embassy.

The work included extensive reconstruction of the entrance way to the consular department, complete renovation of the consular employee’s office, reception area, hallway, and bathroom area. In the entrance way and bathroom areas,four layers of damaged floor was removed and new water proof laminate and tile was installed. All the walls were also painted, and complete electrical work was executed in this area.

Funds for renovation were provided by a transfer of funds, which were meant for recovery of last year's floods in the building of the Embassy. All work was carried out with the help of embassy personnel.
